Policies


Reservations:
Advance reservations of at least four weeks are highly recommended because dates and times in our reservation book fill up quickly.  Parties generally last 1 ½ hours and we allow for travel time outside of that window.  Please see our list of parties for discounts available for certain days and times.

Once we make your reservation, we require a 50% non-refundable deposit with a credit card or personal check to hold your party date (reservations for parties within two weeks will require a credit card deposit only). At the time of booking we will need to know your best estimate of your number of guests. We will confirm your number of guests the day before your party.  On the day of your party, the balance based on your actual number of guests will be payable via credit card or personal check.

Although advanced reservations assure you the best chance of securing your desired date, we are happy to try and accommodate late reservations if at all possible. Please contact us to inquire about having a party on short notice.

Setup:
Setup for a Creative Art Party is easy. All we need is an area with tables and chairs that the children can work at. It can be a dining room table, a patio table, a folding table, etc. Please protect any delicate surfaces like a dining room table top with a simple table cloth. We bring craft paper to put down for clay parties, etc., so we can help you prepare the table area if necessary. We also can bring our own tables and chairs. See below for more information.

Payment Methods:
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and personal checks for both the party and the non-refundable deposit (deposits for parties within 14 days of making the reservation will be taken with a credit card only).

Tables and Chairs:
We have folding chairs and tables available to bring to your party for use during your Art Party if you choose. The table fee is $5.00 per table and $1.00 per chair. Each table will seat 8 children. Please let us know at the time of booking if you would like us to bring tables and chairs. Please note the tables and chairs are for use during your Art Party project only. We cannot leave the tables and chairs for the duration of your party for eating party food or cutting the cake.

Travel:
We travel 50 miles round trip for no charge. For parties requiring travel over 50 miles round trip, unfortunately we must charge a travel charge to offset the skyrocketing gas prices. We are located near SR-13 and CR-210 in Saint John's County. Each additional mile (roundtrip) will be at a charge of $.50 cents a mile. For example, a 62 mile round trip party would be 12 miles over the 50 miles we travel for no charge, resulting in a $6.00 travel charge. We are happy to estimate your mileage charge, if any, at the time you make a reservation.

Parties with more than 20 guests:
All parties with over 20 children will require we bring a helper (at no extra charge to you), so please make sure to tell us if you will have over 20 guests at the time you make your reservation. We offer discounts for parties of 20 or more!

Cancellations:
If you need to cancel or reschedule your party, you may either apply your deposit to a new party date or cancel your party entirely. If you choose to cancel your reservation without rescheduling, unfortunately you will forfeit your non-refundable deposit.
