What is included with a Creative Art Party?

We bring all of the materials and tools necessary to create your selected party project to your home or chosen party location. We host your project party from start to finish – including giving an overview to the children about the project, orienting them with the tools and materials, helping them select colors, assisting them with the techniques, and helping them all along the way so they complete their project – Mom and Dad are freed up to work on other party tasks, like preparing food or setting up the gift table.

We have tables and chairs available to bring as well for an extra fee. Party guests will receive their project item and a little take home bag at the end of the party.

Because so many party Moms like to have a theme party, Creative Art Parties does not offer invitations, paper goods, or a cake with their party packages. We offer a fully hosted Art Party with no hassle, no mess, and lots of fun for the kids!


What time slots and days are offered for a Creative Art Party?

We have many time slots available to serve our party customers. We schedule our parties with travel time in mind to ensure that we give each and every party top quality service. If you would like a different party time, please call us and we will be happy to try and accomodate you.

Our party time slots are:

Who will come to my home to host a Creative Art Party? How can I be sure that planning details along the way are communicated to the party host before the party?

All parties are coordinated and hosted by the owner of Creative Art Parties. We want you to feel confident that your party will go off without a hitch. For that reason, you will talk to one contact person throughout your entire planning process, from making a reservation to the actual party itself. Amy has hosted over 500 parties and her experience will help put your mind at ease that your Creative Art Party will be a success.  


My party will have boy and girl guests. Do you have party projects both will enjoy?

We do. As the mother of two boys, we are always thinking of project ideas that are crafty and gender appropriate. Many of our parties denote that they are good for both boys and girls. If you have questions about a particular party and its appropriateness, call or email us for more information.


My party will have children of different ages. Will the party project be appropriate across different age ranges?

Unless the party project specifies it is best enjoyed by children of a certain age, all of our party projects can be easily modified to suit children of different ages. If your party will have children of varied ages, please let us know at the time of booking so we can plan accordingly. Our goal is for each child to enjoy their party project without getting frustrated or the project being too difficult for them.


My seven year old daughter just had a Creative Art Party and now my nine year old daughter wants one, too. Will their parties end up being the same?

If your family is having a repeat party with us, please let us know at the time of booking. If your second child selects a different project from the first, their parties will naturally be different. If your second child wants the same party (a clay beadmaking party, for example) we can modify the party project so it doesn’t feel like a repeat.

What is the basic schedule during a Creative Art Party? Can the kids eat pizza, open gifts, or have cake during their Art Party?

Creative Art Parties generally last around 1 ½ hours. That time is spent telling the children about the project, introducing them to the materials and techniques, letting them pick their colors and materials, and then assisting them as they get creative and focused on doing their craft project with their friends. Except for very short periods of planned downtime (a few minutes while beads bake during the Clay Beadmaking party for example), the kids spend every moment creating and there is no available time for other party activities like eating or opening gifts. You are welcome to have cake, open gifts, or have refreshments before or after your Creative Art Party host arrives. Often Moms will serve cake or move the party to the gift opening area or pizza area while we pack up. It’s up to you!


Can I have my Creative Art Party at a location other than my home?

Certainly. We are happy to conduct your party and whatever location you choose. If you are having a party at another location, please confirm that they will allow Creative Art Parties into their facility to lead a party. At the time of booking with us, please let us know you will be having your party at a location other than your home so we can be prepared on your party day.
