Creative Art Parties is owned and operated by Amy Romeu, who has successfully hosted over 500 arts and crafts birthday parties and over 250 jewelry making classes for children and adults in South Florida. Now a St. John's County resident, Amy is bringing her experience and love of creating fun and memorable childrens’ parties to the greater Jacksonville area.

Amy is a lifelong artist and crafter and has worked with many media, including beads, polymer clay, glass blowing, mosaic, paper crafts, scrapbooking, and digital design.

Amy managed a large bead store in South Florida for many years, where her knowledge of beading and her love for teaching others jewelry making went hand in hand. Very active in the jewelry artisan community, Amy co-founded and was the first president of the South Florida Bead Society. 

She later developed and executed special events for a national sportswear brand in a major department store.

Amy grew up in Miami, Florida. She graduated from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts, where she earned a BA.degree in Fine Arts.  She is married and has two young boys.
